Fundraising Groom-A-Thon 2008

On Sunday, September 21st
and Monday, September 22nd, 2008
all funds raised from grooming will
be donated to the
Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.
ABOUT THE FUND:

The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund uses 100% of all donated funds to help support
the heroic men and women, and their families, who have made the ultimate sacrifice
for our nation.

The foundation builds hospitals and rehabilitation centers for catastrophically
injured veterans who have been wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.  The
ir sister
o
rganization builds Fisher Houses - homes where the families of these men and
women can stay while treatment is being provided to their family member.  The
foundation does all of this using private donations and NO government funding.

Currently they are trying to raise funds for a new hospital -
The National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE).  It will be located in Bethesda,
Maryland and will be adjacent to Walter Reed Medical Center.  NICoe will be the
most state of the art facility for the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for
veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and other
complex psychological health issues.

ABOUT THE FUND RAISER:

I heard about the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund as I was driving home from North
Conway late at night on the Jerry Doyle Radio Show.  I knew that I had to do
something, but was financially not able to just write a check.  I thought about what
I could do to make a difference using the skills I had.   My hope is to raise at least
$500 for the Fallen Heroes Fund over two days.

This fund raiser has been approved by the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund board of
Trustees.
